Yes, dear Freddy. Missing you still, so much.
But now can finally listen to the CDs and smile ... knowing your spirit is right here with us.
Glad to hear the Texas Tornados are still kicking and doing new things.
Until I see you again. Love and hugs to you, and all your loved ones still here.

Have a pic my husband took of you & me in the 70's while you signed an autograph for me. you had your fro & a hot pink shirt on. Looked awsome. Saw you again after your surgery @ Speaking Rock Casino & you still looked awsome. You may be gone but you live thru your music. You are very much alive @ our house. Got Freddy Fender, Scotty Wayne, even Eddie Medina @ the Shades cd's & vinyls. My favorite Scotty song is not Only One but Pretty Baby. Reminds me of my Mom who passed away in 2002 @ 84 & was always singing it. Miss You!

I have very fond memories of playing Freddy Fender songs within my home in Brownsville, Texas when I was just a boy. Freddy was a big influence in my life.
I will be recording a version of Wasted DAys and Wasted Nights on my next music album in dedication to Freddy and my father, who was also a fan.

What a music - for all occassions; my mom loved to go to sleep with his music and I still love all his music.
With the latest techonology in this world, I would like to suggest to cell MP3 cds with all his albums; or get a package of 10-15 or 30 cds together and sell them - I would gladly buy all his albums.
HOPE THAT SOMEONE CAN SELL ALL HIS ALBUM

Freddy, You are missed daily. Im a truck driver and i listen to your music daily just are i did when me and my dad did when he was alive. You are a guy with a heart of gold and i know you are playing your beautiful songs up there in heaven. Its not many singers that would take time to sing a song for me and my father in a gas station. A memory that i will never forget. To freddy's family and friends my heart goes out to you.
